Toastess Electric Jug kettle

First of all, let me explain why I bought Toastess. In 1986, my family and I were returning to Alaska from vacation, and we stopped in Prince Rupert, B.C., overnight to await the ferry. I needed something to heat water in for our stateroom, and I bought a Toastess kettle in the dept. store there in town. That kettle has worked reliably until THIS YEAR!! That's 21 years!! I was so impressed that I decided if Toastess was still making kettles, I would buy one. Let me say the product performs up to all expectations, and I am absolutely delighted so far! Thank you for asking. I did not buy this for myself. I bought it as a Christmas present for my grandson who admired the one I already have and use daily. I bought mine locally more than a year ago. I am very satisfied with it. When I went to my daughter's house for a few days, I took it with me. It was time for tomatoes to be ripe and since my daughter would not be home to prepare them for freezing, I did, with the help of fast heated water from my Toastess electric jug. It sure made an easy job of things. This is what my grandson saw and decided that he like the idea of something being so simple. Thank you for something that makes this 76 year old grandmother's like easier.

This is a great product with no waiting for the teapot to boil. I am very satisfied! It is on my gift list for my relatives and friends who believe they have every thing. Terence Collins
