I gave it as a gift. It looked like one I have that I like very much but I didn't try it myself.

The screws holding the top together were loose. First use caused grinding of the gears. It worked fine after tightening the screws. I've had others before just like this one but have tried cleaning in the dishwasher. The heat warps them...
