These throwing knives are Gil's updated designs to his original Hibben Throwers. They are constructed of one-piece, tempered stainless steel and feature ergonomic handle designs that guide the hand into the same consistent and accurate release each time they are thrown. These worked wonderfully! I bought them as a gift for my boyfriend, who had never really had any throwing knife experience before. they were really easy for him to learn to throw and he had a great time! He spent about three hours throwing them at a target I had made out of pine and corkboard (double sided) and they had no trouble going into either material. Actually, the pine worked better. He even had them sticking in by the handle, when they hit handle first! Not the point, but amusing anyways. Out of all the time throwing them, only one of them bent at the tip, and only just a little. He's a beginner, what can you expect?

Very consistant throwers as well as dourable. Sheath is a bit of a tight fit for them until it is broken in but it is very nice. Come fairly sharp and are packaged nicely. For the price, I would definitly recommend them.

This is the first set of throwing knives I've ever owned but I love them! They feel great in your hands and they arrive sharp. I throw them at a 1/4" ply wood board and they stick in there like champs. I haven't had any problems with the tips bending or the blade chipping even though I often miss my target and hit the stones around it. All in all, great knives.

Solid, simple design, good weight for throwing. They come with a very good edge on them. I have never had a problem with a Hibben knife.
