This knife was bought for my 16-yr-old nephew when his previous knife closed on his hand, resulting in injury. I was very happy with this knife as it provided a locking blade which actually works, as he has found out. Overall, the knife seemed well-made and extremely sturdy, allowing for much abuse before it will need replaced.
