These are great knives for people that know how to throw. You can throw them with any grip and it will fly the way you want it to. They are nice knives for people just starting to throw because they are light weight and very easy to throw. You look at your target board and throw and it goes right where your looking. I use an oak one myself made from free scrap wood and wood glue. There is one warning-these are for people that throw lightly or they stick in and then pull themselves out and bounce back at you. If you are a power thrower, get some of the bigger knives like gen pros or the Gil Hibbens that they have on this page as they will stick in the wood deeper so they won't bounce out as much. If you are a light thrower, then these are great knives to get. The power thrower and you want something bigger. I like almost all the throwing knives they have.
