Built-in whistle indicates when water is boiling.

We are very pleased with our electric tea kettle. My mother is elderly and with this one, she cannot let the kettle burn again. Its safer for all of us. We are very pleased with the product!

My wife and I previously had a Presto Tea Kettle and loved it. My wife mistakenly left it on a stove burner that was on and damaged it beyond repair. We spent a month looking in various retail stores to find a replacement but none stocked the Presto Tea Kettle. While we looked at other brands, we didn't like them as much as the Presto. We like the compactness, simplicity and style of the Presto. We finally located a Presto Tea Kettle on this site and ordered it.
