This is my first electric kettle. Up to now I have been using an ordinary tea kettle for the gas stove that whistles when the water is boiling. This electric kettle is so much better, it is noiseless and cuts itself off once the water is boiling. The Chef's Choice Kettle is furthermore a very attractive addition to my kitchen counter with its sleek design. I also like the fact that there are no visible heating elements in the inside of the kettleas in other models.

This is a great product. Very convienent to use with few negatives. The only feature that I think could be improved is the timeing of the automatic shut off. The kettle needs to be at a hard boil for about two minuits before it shuts itself off. A minor inconvience for me.
