The product is great and it toasts evenly.

I love the way it matches everything in my kitchen! However, it toasts very unevenly. No matter the setting, it burns at the top & doesn't toast on the back side of bread at all. I read all the reviews on Amazon & they were all good so I bought it. I'm handicapped so returning it is not an option.
