Product Description

T-fal's BF6520004 high-speed kettle employs 1,750 watts of electric power to bring 1 cup of cold water to a rolling boil in one minute. With the kettle filled to its 7-cup capacity, a full boil is achieved in five minutes. That makes the kettle ideal for instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or instant soups. Water-level windows are on both sides and a cord wrap underneath. Easy to clean.

This is the second T-FAL electric kettle we have owned. Both of them are great products. They are effective and reliable. Our first T-FAL came to its end as the result of an accident, but it was working just fine during its 30 years of use in our home. The kettle works well for tea or coffee for one, and we have used it for hot beverages for as many as six people without a problem. The view port on the latest model is much improved, as it lets you know how much water you have in the kettle with larger numbers That is especially nice for us folks with lots of experience! I really like the mode selector switch, allowing one to put it in turbo charge mode or even heat a cup of soup. This is a well-made product that I would recommend to anyone.

Ok...I'm a Brit, staying in the US, determined to bring the Yanks kicking and screaming into the LAST century! So, all in all, this Tefal Vitesse kettle is an astonishingly good buy, and I promise, once you have one, you'll never be without one...the rest of the world hasn't!!! Smiles...please excuse my playful taunts at the US, as there are many things I admire about US way of life, but it doesn't hurt to realize that there are many things the US could learn from other 'little' countries!
