This is a replacement probe for the Polder Thermometer/Timer. I love my Polder Thermometer and use it frequently to produce perfectly cooked food. My husband accidentally melted the thermometer probe by roasting it in the oven, and I was glad to find the replacement only. This is a hard to find item and your website was the only site that stocks it.

We like the thermometer itself. It struck me odd that I would have to replace the probe. If it is meant to withstand such high temperatures, I should not have had to replace the probe because it malfunctioned. It's as if since the company has replacements it WAS MEANT to break causing the consumer to purchase another one. The thermometer itself is expensive enough without having to replace the probe at an additional not 'so inexpensive price'. The manufacturers should try to re-design the probe so it doesn't malfunction.
