It is amazing how fast the water heats and that the kettle will turn itself off is an added bonus.

I except that the inside has a plastic part (I was seeking a fully stainless steel appliance to make my tea have no 'plastic taste' (which wasn't mentioned in the listing, nor did the seller know whether it did or not). I find this an exceptional product! It heats water faster than any other method I have used (stove, microwave), and you don't have to keep it on until you need it (unlike the coffee maker I kept heating throughout the afternoon), because it takes so little time to reheat.

So far so good! It boils water quickly, and turns itself off if unattended, which is why I bought it. The only drawback is the water-level gauge. It's hidden behind the handle (and thus behind your own hand holding the handle) as you're filling it. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the product.
